No. Both our Kinder beat and Junior Group Piano programs are designed specifically for complete beginners.

As a guide:
- Ages 5–7 → Junior Group Piano
- Ages 8–12 → Primary Group Piano

For the Kinder Beat Level 3 and Junior Group Piano classes - Yes. Regular home practice is important for progress. A beginner keyboard or piano is suitable for students starting their musical journey.

Yes. Students are encouraged to participate in our concerts and performance opportunities throughout the year.

Students may continue into the next level of our Group Class pathway or transition into private piano lessons, depending on their age, goals and learning style.

In many cases, yes. We offer open enrolment where suitable places are available. We can assess your child’s experience and recommend the most appropriate starting point.
